Fiction Can Be Murder (A Mystery Writer's Mystery) by Becky Clark is a must read for mystery lovers. There is something about mystery novels that draw me in and make me read them into the whee hours of the night. It might be that I am a Nancy Drew and Velma at heart and love a clue hunt,or it might be that the writing sucks me in and keeps me hungry for more. Becky Clark is a master of words and humor that makes readers laugh and hunt for clues along side her narrator Charlee. Clark creates witty characters that every reader can relate to that could be the murderer, and what makes it better is that they are all friends of the narrator Charlee. You find yourself questions your own friends and if they would ever dare to murder someone as you stand alongside Charlee as she sets out to find who framed her for the murder of her agent.
This novel works not only for readers like myself who love curling up in the middle of the night and solving clues with a fictional character, it is also for the writers in the world. Clark allows for writers to discover what goes into creating a novel as you are invited into the narrators writing group, career life, and her writing process. If you are looking for a book that will keep you up all night laughing, questioning the people in your close circle, and your writing process then I suggest you check out clarks inciting murder mystery.

The one thing I love about doing blog post about books is when authors respond to them! I reached out to Becky Clark and she was nice enough to respond to my email that I will post below!
How nice! I'm so glad you liked it ... thanks for telling others about it, too. I can't quite figure out how to comment on your blog, but if you had an extra minute, I'd love for you to post a sentence or two on Amazon.
Thanks for making my Wednesday a bit brighter, Falicya!
